Farming is a born passion for Kelvin Sherman. His interest in providing fresh quality fruits and vegetables for his local communities birthed The Fresh Basket Produce and is a result of four generations of farming. Farming became second nature to Kelvin as he was brought up in the family business . Acquiring a passion for farming at a very young age, Kelvin began to participate in local farmers markets with his grandparents well over 30 years ago. An inherent interest to expand past local markets in an effort to reach a wider range of customers is what brought him to arrive at the idea of "The Fresh Basket."
The Fresh Basket Produce offers a wide variety of spring, summer, and fall crops such as fresh peas, watermelons, okra, greens of all types, corn, blackberries, peaches, etc. Future plans are to expand Fresh Basket Produce to include fruit orchards bearing peaches, plums, blackberries, blueberries, scuppernong and muscadine grapes, and nectarines. The Fresh Basket Produce proudly has two locations : 203 1st Ave Calvary GA and 203 E. Shotwell Street Bainbridge, GA. We look forward to seeing and serving you at any of our locations.
